    Today, American Atheists joined a coalition of more than 100 national civil rights groups in opposing the confirmation of President Donald Trump's nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, to the United States Supreme Court. American Atheists raised concerns about Judge Gorshuch's positions on religious freedom and church/state separation among the other issues voiced in the letter sent to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

    Atheists Express 'Grave Concerns' About Trump's Supreme Court Pick

    President Donald Trump has announced that he will nominate Judge Neil Gorsuch to the United States Supreme Court. Judge Gorsuch currently serves on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Gorsuch would fill the seat that has been empty for nearly a year after the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.
